The 2024-2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference is off to a thrilling start, with two teams remaining undefeated: Creamline Cool Smashers and Cignal HD Spikers. Both teams have showcased dominant performances, impressing fans and analysts alike.
Creamline Cool Smashers: The Reigning Champions
Creamline, the defending champions, have continued their winning streak. Led by Alyssa Valdez, the team has been virtually unstoppable. Valdez’s leadership, combined with the stellar performances of Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, and Michele Gumabao, has propelled Creamline to the top of the standings.
One of the standout players for Creamline has been Jema Galanza. Her consistent offensive and defensive contributions have earned her the Player of the Week award. Galanza’s versatility and athleticism have made her a valuable asset to the team, and her impact on the court has been undeniable.
Cignal HD Spikers: The Rising Stars
Cignal HD Spikers have emerged as a formidable force in the PVL. With a strong core of experienced players and promising young talents, the team has been able to compete with the league’s top teams.
One of the key factors behind Cignal’s success has been the exceptional play of setter Kyle Negrito. Negrito’s precise setting and court vision have allowed his hitters to thrive. His ability to distribute the ball effectively has been crucial in Cignal’s victories.
Other Notable Performances
While Creamline and Cignal have been the talk of the league, other teams have also made their mark. Petro Gazz Angels, with their strong offensive lineup, have shown promise. PLDT High Speed Hitters have also impressed, with their young and talented roster.
