The Entire Internet Is Roasting The WNBA’s Chicago Sky For Introducing Angel Reese In Their Pathetic Facility

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese arrived at Sachs Recreation Center in Deerfield last week to be introduced to the media, and unlike what we saw with Caitlin Clark and other incoming rookies, she showed up to no fanfare and a place with subpar conditions.

Angel Reese’s entrance ahead of her introductory news conference with the Sky was a sight to behold.

The benefits of being a member of the 2023 NCAA women’s basketball champion LSU were no longer available. Her harsh new circumstances included playing for a team that won its only championship in 2021 and taking a seat at a folding table at a public recreation center.

Fans took to social media and responded the same way:

Angel Reese is one of the game’s biggest stars, yet she didn’t exactly get the star treatment in her WNBA welcome. The No. 7 overall pick entered a near-empty gym with no fans and only a few reporters there to welcome her to the next phase of her career.

She has the skill and stardom to change everything for the franchise, and hopefully, it will lead to better facilities. She can also put butts in seats at the Sky play at Wintrust Arena, which has a capacity of 10,387. Last season, the team averaged 7,242 per game, via Wikipedia.com.

Angel Reese is one of the most talented prospects in the WNBA. The Chicago Sky drafted the former college star, and many believe she can help the team get to the next level soon.

The number seven overall pick comes to the Sky after winning an NCAA Championship with the LSU Tigers in 2023. The team got to the Elite 8 this past March before they were eliminated by Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Her championship experience can sorely be used for a team that finished 18-22 last year and fifth in the conference.
