TAMPA, Fla. — The Yankees’ season starts a week from Thursday in Houston and they’ll probably need to find a stopgap third baseman with DJ LeMahieu nursing a deep bone bruise on his right foot and likely starting out on the injured list.

With DJ LeMahieu hurt, the Yankees could have interest in signing free agent infielder Josh Harrison early in the season to play some or a lot of third base.
