A pair of ex-Yankees squandered their new club’s chance to start the year with a win in Seoul on Wednesday.

The Padres led the Dodgers by one run in the eighth inning of the season-opener in South Korea when Wandy Peralta and Jhony Brito combined to allow three runs, blowing San Diego’s lead. The Dodgers won, 5-2.
