Joe Rogan Head EXPLODES as Gad Saad Reveals This About Islam…
In a recent, wide-ranging appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, evolutionary psychologist and author Gad Saad delivered a sobering assessment of the ideological forces currently reshaping the West. Moving beyond the polite, sanitized rhetoric that often dominates public discourse, Saad challenged the audience to confront the “amnesia of causality”—a phenomenon where modern societies conveniently forget the historical origins of aggression, choosing instead to project guilt onto those who have been the primary targets of violence. At the heart of Saad’s analysis is a critique of the “violently expansionist” nature of canonical Islamic doctrine and the dangerous rise of “suicidal empathy” within the Western progressive movement.

The Paradox of “Suicidal Empathy”
The conversation took a sharp turn into the psychological when discussing the modern paradox of activists who march in support of causes that, by their own admission, would fundamentally dismantle the activists’ own existence. Saad highlighted the viral phenomenon of the “Queers for Palestine” movement—an ideology he describes as “ascended suicidal empathy.”
Saad posed the question to the listener: Is there any evolutionary mechanism that allows an organism to build an affiliation with a group that it knows—with absolute certainty—would destroy it for its very identity? His conclusion is that there is not. Instead, he argues that modern Western activists have reached a psychological state where the performance of “empathy” has transcended the biological imperative of survival. This is not progress; it is a profound psychological rupture, where individuals have become so detached from the reality of their surroundings that they are willing to advocate for their own erasure in the name of a righteous, yet fundamentally suicidal, narrative.
The Canonical Requirement and the House of War
Moving from the psychological to the doctrinal, Saad laid out facts that many in the West are terrified to articulate: Islam, in its primary canonical form, is a violently expansionist ideology. He explained the dualistic framework that has governed Islamic geopolitical strategy for centuries: the division of the world into Dar al-Islam (The House of Islam) and Dar al-Harb (The House of War).
“Any country that is not yet under Islamic dominion is classified as under the House of War,” Saad explained. He detailed the historical and canonical expectation that any region that has ever fallen under Islamic control belongs to the faith in perpetuity. This is the logic used by extremists to justify the “reversion” of lands like Andalusia (Spain) and, crucially, the insistence that the Jewish state cannot canonically exist in the Levant.
Saad’s historical extrapolation is chilling: he points out that 57 countries currently within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation were not always Islamic. From Indonesia to Libya and Egypt, these regions were once majority-Christian, Coptic, or secular. The process of change can take five years or five hundred, but the objective remains the same. The warning for the West, Saad suggests, is not that Sharia law will be imposed by tomorrow morning, but that the continued, unchecked replication of these cultural enclaves in city after city will eventually result in a United States that is unrecognizable to its founders.
The Marketing of Ideology: The “Trojan Horse” of Progressivism
Saad’s background in the psychology of marketing provides a unique vantage point on how these ideologies gain a foothold in Western institutions. He described the current political movement in cities like New York as a “Trojan Horse”—where progressive, democratic socialist rhetoric is used to dismantle the structures of the Republic from within.
“Under the guise of progressivism,” Saad noted, “you are going to open up the door, and eventually, you will have a radicalized, anti-Western, anti-American, and anti-Semitic ideology in control of the most important institutions in the nation.” He highlighted the irony of this alliance: the radical left provides the political cover and the moral vocabulary to sanitize and protect an ideology that is, at its core, deeply reactionary and fundamentally opposed to the very secular freedoms the left claims to hold dear.
The Scapegoating of the Jewish State
The discussion inevitably arrived at the persistent, irrational obsession with Israel. Saad and his interlocutors explored why, in a world of 57 Islamic nations, the focus remains fixated on the only democracy in the Middle East.
The Psychological Projection of Failure: Saad argues that anti-Semitism is, at its base, a form of psychological projection. When individuals, societies, or ideological movements fail to achieve the prosperity or moral stature they desire, they must blame someone for their inadequacy. Throughout history, the Jewish people—who have consistently prioritized education, family, and charity—have served as the perennial scapegoat for those who need a target for their own failures.
The Inversion of Truth: The claim that Jewish people “control” the media, the government, or the world is a conspiracy theory that fails the most basic test of logic. If Jewish people controlled the media, why is the media so consistently flooded with anti-Israel propaganda? If they controlled the government, why is there such a massive, well-funded apparatus dedicated to the delegitimization of the Jewish state? The conspiracy theory doesn’t need to make sense; it only needs to satisfy the deep-seated psychological need to blame.
A Culture of Coexistence: Saad noted the reality of Israel: a country where Arab-Muslims and Arab-Christians work as doctors, lawyers, and politicians, and serve in the judiciary and military. It is, by any objective standard, the most diverse and free society in the Middle East. Yet, it is the only one consistently targeted for annihilation by surrounding regimes that have presided over the systematic ethnic cleansing of their own minority populations.
The Responsibility of the Influencer
The dialogue concluded on a sobering note about the responsibility of the modern influencer. In an era where 1.8 billion people follow the expansionist doctrines of the Islamic world, and where influencers command platforms that reach millions, the stakes have never been higher.
Saad expressed his frustration with those who, like Joe Rogan, may have been exposed to the “anti-Semitic Kool-Aid” of the current political environment. He argued that the influence and charisma provided to these figures are divine gifts, and with those gifts comes the responsibility to be a steward of the truth. To use such a platform to normalize or deflect from the violent reality of Islamofascism—or to participate in the scapegoating of the only democratic ally in the region—is a profound moral failure.
The Path to the Third Temple: A Vision of Peace
The discourse ended not in despair, but in a call for the next revolution in history—a return to a time of peacefulness, where people recognize their shared humanity and the primacy of the Divine. The call for the “Noahic Laws” and the return to a state of godliness is a reminder that the West’s foundational values—life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—are not accidents. They are the result of a long, difficult struggle to move away from the “animalistic” reflexes of conquest and toward a system of law, charity, and individual responsibility.
As we face the future, we must realize that the expansionist doctrine is not a myth; it is an active, ongoing project. The “House of War” is a real concept, and it is a reality that must be confronted with intellectual honesty, moral courage, and a steadfast commitment to the truth. We are not prisoners of history; we are the shapers of it. By rejecting the culture of death, the psychology of projection, and the betrayal of our own principles, the West can once again become the beacon it was always intended to be.
The truth is the only leverage we have. It is time to use it.
Do you agree with Gad Saad that the Western tendency toward “suicidal empathy” and the refusal to acknowledge the expansionist nature of canonical religious doctrines is the single greatest threat to the survival of the West? Share your thoughts below.
