‘Coke is gross but ‘Molly’ and weed are happy drugs!’ Miley Cyrus talks about one of her favourite subjects… d.rugs
Her love of marijuana is well documented.
But Miley Cyrus loves a theme; so she’s spoken to Rolling Stone about how a bit of weed and a smattering of MDMA (the active ingredient in ecstasy pills, known as ‘Molly’) create happiness.
But the 20-year-old blasts the use of cocaine, branding it ‘dark’ and ‘gross’ then oddly – given her love of ’90s fashion – she slates the white powder as a throwback to that era.
Scroll down to hear Miley’s stylist discuss her new look…

Unrepentant: Miley Cyrus poses defiantly topless and with tongue out on the cover of Rolling Stone, she shared her views on drugs in outtakes from the inventive shoot within
She told the magazine’s contributing editor Josh Eells: ‘One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon.’
Miley added: ‘Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And Molly, too. Those are happy drugs – social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom.’
Miley, who will share in MTV documentary Miley: The Movement on October 3rd, more continued: ‘I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark. It’s like, what are you, from the ’90s? Ew.’

Enough, already: The popstar continues to shock with her nearly-nude clothing choices – taking to the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday clad in this revealing number

Concerning: The recently single Miley left little to the imagination in the revealing outfit but failed to appeal
Miley did admit that she referenced Sinead O’Connor’s ’90s hit, Nothing Compares to 2U in her Wrecking Ball video, however, and said that her father didn’t want her to follow him into the music business.
‘I think if he’d known how it was going to pan out, he would have let me. It’s more that he didn’t necessarily want me to.
It’s almost like Toddlers and Tiaras – getting the little kids all dolled up and putting so much pressure on them to win,’ she explained.
‘He didn’t want me ever to feel…the right word isn’t ‘pageant-y,’ but I don’t think he wanted me to feel like I had to be a certain way.’

Criticised: Veteran singer Cher said Miley’s body didn’t even look good in the skimpy outfit, though she later backtracked

Shocking: But Miley’s performance with Robin Thicke to Blurred Lines wasn’t supposed to be sexy

Permanent reminder: Miley tweeted this picture of her feet tattooed with the words ‘Rolling $tone’ to celebrate her big cover, which she had etched during her interview with the mag’s contributing editor, Josh Eells
Miley isn’t just mentored by her 52-year-old father these days, and in her Rolling Stone interview discusses a close friendship with Kanye West.
She added: ‘Kanye is the s**t. I kind of have a good relationship with him now.’
‘It’s good to have someone you can call and be like, “Yo, do you think I should wear this? Do you think I should go in the studio with this guy? Do you think this is cool?” That’s what homies are supposed to do.’
Meanwhile, Miley’s stylist, Simone Harouche, who has been dressing the starlet since she was 16, has spoken out to defend her client’s incredible transformation.
She told Style Haul: ‘She’s 20 years old, she’s growing up and figuring stuff out. I love watching her evolution.’
Miley: The Movement, airs on Thursday 3 October at 8pm, on MTV.

I touch myself: Miley appeared to be remaining defiant and spent much of her performance touching herself on stage
