Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made WNBA history against the Seattle Storm

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is off to a historic start to her WNBA career. Entering the league with unparalleled expectations, it is fair to say Clark has lived up to the hype and even exceeded it in certain ways.

Entering Thursday’s game against the Seattle Storm, Clark and the Fever had won four of their last five games. While this level of team success is always the primary focus, it is hard to ignore the individual production of Clark and the impact it has had on her team’s impressive turnaround.

In the first half of Thursday’s game against Seattle, it was announced that Clark had broken another incredible WNBA record, becoming the fastest player in league history to 300 points, 100 assists and 100 rebounds:

This is an incredible accomplishment for Clark, as it highlights her all-around game. Becoming the first player in WNBA history to reach any achievement is already impressive, but an accomplishment that includes points, rebounds, and assists is even more special.

As previously mentioned, the focus of Clark and her team continues to be wins, which her play has certainly help achieve as of late.

While everybody knows about Clark’s deep shooting ability, she is already one of the best passers in the league. Averaging 6.6 assists per game entering play on Thursday, Clark ranked fourth in the WNBA in this category, and first among rookies.

The Fever still have a lot of work to do in order to earn a spot in the WNBA playoffs, but a player like Clark can certainly help them make a run at the postseason.
