Jason Kelce Reveals Drastic Move Travis Kelce Had To Make Because Of The Swifties (VIDEO)
Jason Kelce has revealed the drastic move his brother Travis Kelce had to make after his relationship with Taylor Swift became public knowledge.
The Philadelphia Eagles center joined former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal on the latter’s ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq’ this week and disclosed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was forced to move out of his house because of Swift fans.
Travis purchased a mansion in a gated area after hooking up with the pop sensation, but even that wasn’t enough to present him with complete privacy.
“It’s crazy what it opens up opportunity-wise,” Jason said. “It’s crazy to feel how much joy you bring people or how much you affect people’s daily lives.
“It’s also incredibly, it has drawbacks, for sure. And Travis knows way more more than I. He had to completely move out of his house. People were just staying by his house. I mean, safety reasons.
“And the first day he moved into the new house … a gated community somebody knocks on the back window of the house.”
While they are both used to being famous given their successful NFL careers, Jason admitted that his brother getting with Swift has put his family in a new stratosphere that they’re still adjusting to.
“We’re still learning,” he admitted. “I mean, so listen, we’ve always been big in the football world, right? Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. You’re in a different, it’s just an added level of, it’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”
It’s been a successful period for the new couple. Since they started dating, Taylor has won multiple Grammys while Travis has gone on to win another Super Bowl.
As for Jason, his Eagles got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs and he’s been considering retirement. He’s told Shaq he plans to announce a decision in a “couple weeks.”
