KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Even the so-called G.O.A.T. of the NFL can be caught at unflattering angles.

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes went viral on X, formerly Twitter, after a video from The CW’s “Inside the NFL” shows him shirtless in the locker room after securing a spot in Super Bowl LVIII.

Social media quickly became flooded with jokes and memes, but it appears he’s laughing off the comments.

“Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?,” Mahomes wrote in a post Wednesday morning, adding three laughing emojis and #DadBodSzn at the end.

Mahomes then quoted the post and added, “Like I got kids!!!” and tagged the official accounts for the Chiefs, the NFL and “Inside the NFL.”

Many of the replies to his post were also hilarious.

“This is an elite physique actually,” one X user said.

According to ESPN analyst Matt Miller, Mahomes and Jason Kelce — who went viral for his shirtless celebration during the Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills — are “doing the Lord’s work” and “doing more for dad bods than anyone in history.”

“Extra rib protection,” another user said.

This weekend, Mahomes will take his “dad bod” to Las Vegas to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
