Two straight Super Bowl MVPs has Patrick Mahomes sitting as the unquestioned best quarterback in the NFL—even among his peers.

New Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins admitted Mahomes stands well above his peers at the quarterback position during a recent appearance on Kevin Hart’s Cold as Balls.

“Patrick’s No. 1. I think it’s Patrick, and then there’s a little bit of a drop off to everybody else,” Cousins said.

Mahomes was also mentioned on Cousins’ shortlist of all-time greatest quarterbacks. He mentioned Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Joe Montana as being unquestioned on the all-time Mount Rushmore while adding Drew Brees, Bart Starr and Mahomes as options for the final spot.

While Cousins did not mention himself in the conversation, he’s nudged his way onto the NFL Mount Rushmore at the bank. Cousins ranks fourth all time in career earnings and will continue nudging himself toward the top after signing a four-year, $180 million contract with the Falcons earlier this month.
