Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes were recently seen raging at the most recent NWSL game between the Kansas City Current and the Portland Thornes where the KCC rose victorious 5-4. While making an open invitation for Taylor Swift to join them.

As many Mahomes fans know, Brittany is part-owner of the team and before the great victory of the team, they sent a message to BFF Taylor Swift to join them in one of the games.

While speaking to ESPN, Patrick mentioned “We might get her here at some point, she’s a busy woman and Travis [Kelce] is a busy guy,” Patrick Mahomes said in a previous interview.

“So, maybe during the season or something like that, we’ll get her out to a Kansas City Current game. She loves supporting Kansas City just like we do and I’m sure Brittany can nudge her and get her here pretty easily.” He continued.

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback and his wife helped the team kick off the brand-new CPKC Stadium and did some press for the event to help the team build a bigger fan base, and having Taylor Swift as a VIP guest of the game would be a big step forward for the soccer-loving crowd.

Brittany also mentioned that it was on her to make the hitmaker come to one of the Curren’s games “That’s definitely on me, that’s definitely on me. I’ll work on it, I will work on it.”

The stadium that holds 11,500 had sold out the season opener. All of the fans clapped an cheered for the Mahomes, especially for Brittany who had some words for the fans.

“Kansas City – we’re here, we did it,” Brittany Mahomes said “I just want to say thank you guys for showing up today. This is history, this is incredible, and for you guys to show up for these women in their own stadium is amazing.”
