Patrick & Brittany Mahomes Tease Huge Taylor Swift News

Just when you thought the talk about Taylor Swift was done for the football season, it is back with huge possible news this week.

Taylor Swift made an impact during Kansas City Chiefs games when she appeared at Arrowhead Stadium and on the road during the playoffs as she supported her budding relationship with Chiefs tight end and boyfriend Travis Kelce.

With the National Women’s Soccer League’s Kansas City Current kicking off the 2024 season at CPKC Stadium over the weekend, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes made sure they were in attendance and informed that he is hoping Taylor Swift is going to make an appearance at one of their games.
“We might get her here at some point, she’s a busy woman and Travis is a busy guy,” Mahomes told SportsCenter.

“So, maybe during season or something like that we’ll get her out to a Kansas City Current game. She loves supporting Kansas City just like we do and I’m sure Brittany can nudge her and get her here pretty easily.”
Brittany Mahomes added, “That’s definitely on me, that’s definitely on me. I’ll work on it, I will work on it,” she said.

CPKC Stadium is the first stadium to house a women’s professional sports team.

Mahomes joined the ownership group for the soccer team in January 2023, becoming the first NFL player to have a stake in an NWSL team.

The Current do have 12 more home matches so there is plenty of time for Taylor Swift to make a trip for one game.

One appearance from Taylor Swift would do wonders for the league and sport in this country. Swift’s attendance at the games was said to be the catalyst for the spike in viewership in matchups this season. Imagine what it would do for a women’s sports league.

Taylor Swift Attended Thirteen NFL games During The 2023 Season

Taylor Swift was a busy woman during the 2023 season as she attended her first game at Arrowhead Stadium as the team took on the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24, 2023.

She would go on to attend 13 of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs football games.

The team won 10 of the 13 games and that includes all playoff games and the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
