Travis Kelce shares behind-the-scenes details of his “incredible” date with Taylor Swift at Sydney Zoo.

The Kansas City chef called the Grammy winner “the coolest thing possible” as he raved about their daytime encounters and fed “exotic animals” including red pandas, koalas, and dingoes last month.

“Kangaroos are pretty nice. I got to see a red panda with my own eyes,” he told his brother, Jason Kelce, on Wednesday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

Travis, 34, particularly enjoys his experiences with “soft” red pandas, which he compares to a “friendly panda.”

“One of my favorite things was the zookeeper who showed us the red panda. We had to go into a cage just to go in and see the panda in the panda area, and they said, ‘Okay, let’s make sure this door is closed.’ and when you get out of here fast, shut that up ’cause they’re escape artists,’ and I said, ‘That got me a lot of points, man!’” he recalled.

Although he loves a lot of animals, the NFL star admits there are a few he’s thankful for that don’t live in Kansas City, Missouri.

“I saw an alligator, it was a lot bigger than an alligator,” he said, before adding, “Thank God they’re not very common in the United States.

Travis and Swift, also 34, also had the chance to see two African elephants, a tiger “sitting outside the treehouse” and a lion “up close.”

“You see three of them running down the rock, knowing they’re about to be fed, [and when] you see how fast and nimble this thing is, man, it’s over,” a- he added. “You could say that one is the big one, the bad one. Like, damn, that’s a bad man right there. Yes, it’s fun. It’s an interesting thing.

This athlete also shared that they had sympathy for some of the other animals they saw.

“[We fed] the koala’s eucalyptus leaves,” he recalls. “They didn’t do anything. They just relax. That’s what koalas do. They just relax.

The couple also got to “pet a rhino” and Travis admitted it was “terrifying to be in the same cage” as the 2,000-pound animal.

“This thing was running in the mud. It’s like I’m stroking it like I’m putting my hand on a plastered wall. This thing is hard as a rock, it jumps and everything. It was really fun,” he shared.

Travis describes rhinos as both “epic” and “nimble.” The three-time Super Bowl champion visited the “Cruel Summer” singer in Australia last month during her Eras tour, during which he was seen greeting fans, and singing along with her. songs and even bring out guitars.

“Sydney did not disappoint me. I’m pretty sure the crowd was there – well, they were loud. Australians are quite noisy. They like to have a good time. I like to have a good time,” he said.

Travis admired the noise of the crowd and even said his girlfriend “would love to perform in Australia” because of the people.

“Let us thank Australia for its presence, its presence,” he said.

Travis and the “Anti-Hero” singer were previously spotted holding hands during a date at the zoo, then sneaking off for a date on a boat before leaving for his next show in Singapore as he returns to Las Vegas to continue celebrating his 2024 Super Bowl victory.

The two haven’t been seen together since, but Travis gave a nod to his partner by wearing his iconic friendship bracelet during Jason’s emotional retirement announcement on Monday.
