Everyone’s Saying the Same Thing About Diana Taurasi’s Blunt Caitlin Clark Message
On Sunday, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will face off against Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury for the first time this season.
Taurasi made headlines earlier this year when she suggested Clark was in for a rude awakening at the WNBA level, sparking controversy and discourse around the basketball world.
As such, fans are interested in what Taurasi has to say about this upcoming matchup.
DT was asked to give her thoughts during media availability on Wednesday. The WNBA veteran kept her response as simple as possible.
“Yeah, it’ll be fun,” Taurasi said.
Fans flooded the replies with a similar response.
“Caitlin gonna leave the game with a goddamn broken nose. but nah im lowkey excited for this tech off,” one wrote.
“The double techs incoming,” another said.
“Everyone in the entire universe knows Taurasi is gonna try her damnedest to put CC on her ass,” another added.
“The technical foul queens meet at last,” another said.
Taurasi leads the league in technical fouls this season with four. Clark (3) is in a tie for second with Natasha Cloud and Kahleah Copper.
