Postgame Interaction Between A’ja Wilson, Angel Reese is Going Viral.
On Thursday night, Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky faced of against MVP frontrunner A’ja Wilson and the reigning-champion Las Vegas Aces.
Wilson and the Aces got the better of Reese and the Sky, notching a 95-83 victory.
After the game, the Las Vegas veteran and Chicago rookie met at center court for an embrace.
“Angel Reese and A’ja Wilson show some love after the game. League is in good hands with these 2,” a Chicago Sky fan account wrote on X.
The post has more than 4.5 thousand likes and 700 reposts.
Wilson once again proved why she’s the favorite to win this year’s WNBA MVP award. The five-time All Star led all scorers with 31 points — adding six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
Reese recorded yet another double-double, scoring 18 points and ripping down 11 rebounds.
“The biggest thing that I see from Angel is just her speed, and the want to get the basketball,” Wilson said of Reese after the game. “I feel like you don’t see that out of players all the time, that second and third effort to go get the basketball. She has that in her.”
