Rory Gibson As Michael: Fans Discuss His Acting

Rory Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos from Chad Duell on General Hospital (GH), who decided to take a break and focus on being the best person that he can be. Well, daytime drama fans are not disappointed, and now they are singing Rory’s praises to the high heavens.

Lots Of Praise For The Actor
Rory made his debut as Michael Corinthos on May 23, and three weeks on, many people go onto his social media and shout him out for taking on his role so enthusiastically. Recently, he posted some photos on his profile page on Instagram, but he didn’t write a caption.Not that fans needed a caption to sing out his praises. One of his followers commented:

That comment got plenty of fans talking about how they love him on GH. For once, nobody’s complaining about the ABC show’s casting.

Fans React To Great Acting
Some actors don’t get a lot of love because they play the roles of unpopular characters, like Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain). However, that’s not a problem for Rory Gibson, despite Michael acting controversially from time to time.

The Recast
In November last year, Frank Valentini said there were no plans to recast Michael. However, that changed, and soon, lots of speculation arrived about who might take over. One person who never auditioned was Robert Adamson, and that was surprising. After all, he had played the role on a few occasions.

Rory joined the storyline after the ghastly fire that saw Michael end up in the hospital. He appeared after his return from Germany. Since then, fans saw him with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). They are bonding over baby Daisy, and he’s trying to be reassuring and honest with her. It seems that he’s going to take fatherhood very seriously.
