New Details Emerge About Kate Martin’s Apparent New Girlfriend
Kate Martin has become one of the most beloved rookies in the entire WNBA.
And a recent series of social media posts have proven that the Las Vegas Aces rookie is winning both on and off the court.
On Sunday, Martin posted an Instagram story of her standing alongside another woman. This post sparked dating rumors; which Martin all-but confirmed with a TikTok comment on Monday that said, “She is gorgeous, stunning & perfect, I can’t lie”.
But who is this mystery woman?
Well, her name is Claire Gransee.
And considering that Gransee also attended Iowa, her and Martin surely met there.

According to Gransee’s LinkedIn account, she graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2024 with a 3.94 GPA, majoring in Communication Studies alongside minors in both Law and Media Literacy.
Gransee moved to Boston after graduating from Iowa. This explains why she wrote, “switched coasts for the weekend!🎪” in her story with Martin from Sunday.
Martin graduated with her Master’s Degree in Sport and Recreation Management. Therefore, the two likely didn’t meet in class.
Although Gransee worked a Front Desk administrator at Iowa for nearly three years, which could have sparked a potential meeting between them two.
Add another win to the board for Martin.
