Kamilla Cardoso’s Honest Review On Playing With Angel Reese
The Chicago Sky set themselves up for a successful future. Chicago was awarded the No. 3 and No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. They selected Kamilla Cardoso with their first pick and then grabbed a gem in Angel Reese.
Cardoso missed the start of the season due to a shoulder injury she suffered in the preseason, and she’s since gotten back in action. The former South Carolina Gamecock posted her career-high in points against the Atlanta Dream on Saturday, notching 13 points to go along with five rebounds.
Her partner in crime, Reese, had an outstanding game with 13 points and 13 boards.
Cardoso revealed her honest take on playing alongside Reese, given their one-two punch in the frontcourt.
“I feel like we both play real good defense. We just try to stay connected. Just stay connected and play our role,” said Cardoso via Chicago Sky PR.
She continued by saying the two complete each other skill sets very well, and with time, they can form something special.
The Sky will get back in action on Wednesday against the Connecticut Sun, heading back home to face one of the best teams in the league.
