Amidst the celebrations, there’s bittersweet news for fans of the Creamline Cool Smashers. Gia de Guzman, who was recently named the best setter of the Southeast Asian V League, will not be returning to the team post-tournament. Despite this, the Philippines volleyball team remains resolute in their pursuit of excellence. The bronze medal win, coupled with De Guzman’s individual accolades, highlights the strength, talent, and determination of Filipino athletes.
