Caitlin Clark’s visit forces Aces to change venue as ticket demand surges
The Caitlin Clark Effect shows no signs of slowing.
A visit from Clark’s Indiana Fever team has forced the Las Vegas Aces to change the venue for Tuesday’s game, moving to T-Mobile Arena instead of Michelob ULTRA Arena.
The move allows the Aces to increase their supply of tickets by 33 percent — from 12-18k – as the demand has also skyrocketed.

A report from TickPick states the team has sold twice the number of tickets for this game compared to the sum of tickets sold for Game 1 and 2 of the WNBA Finals last year, which took place in Las Vegas.
There is also a stunning 667 percent increase in the expense for the current “get-in” price – $92 – compared to the Aces’ following home game against the Mystics at Michelob ULTRA Arena, $12.
So far, the largest purchase was $2,584 for four tickets in Section 15, Row G – which breaks down to $646 per individual ticket.
The 22-year-old rookie, the top pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after a record-breaking college career at Iowa, has captivated legions of new fans — including some notable fellow players.

In the Fever’s 88-82 win on Sunday against the Phoenix Mercury, star Diana Taurasi crossed paths with Clark for the first time.
“It’s amazing. What Caitlin’s been able to do in her short career so far has been nothing short of remarkable. The one thing that I really love about her … she’s put the work in,” Taurasi said. “Even throughout her short WNBA career, it’s been a lot of pressure, a lot of things thrown at her and she keeps showing up and she keeps getting better every single game. So her future is super bright.”
Through 20 games in her rookie season, Clark is averaging 16.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 blocks through 34.3 minutes.
