Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is on top of the world right now.

Just this week alone, Reese has been named to the 2024 WNBA All-Star team, won WNBA Rookie of the Month honors for June, and set the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles (11) in a season.

And now Reese is on the verge of turning this success into a major endorsement deal.

On the morning of Fourth of July, Reese posted on X, “Goodmorning to the Reese’s Pieces and the Reese’s Pieces onlyyyyyy”.

This is a reference to Reese’s fanbase, which is called the Reese’s Pieces.

But Reese’s announcement also has a new meaning.

TMZ reported on Thursday morning that Reese is currently in talks with Hershey’s about a potential partnership.

TMZ wrote that, “It’s unclear exactly what it would all entail and how far along they are in negotiations … but a Hershey’s spokesperson admitted to us, “Reese x Reese does sound quite tasty.””

Reese has made her adoration of Reese’s well known in the past, even wearing custom Reese’s Pieces shoes during a WNBA game earlier this year.

This seems like a can’t-miss opportunity for both the WNBA icon and the global candy brand.
