Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark sent a message to her teammate Aliyah Boston.
The Indiana Fever lost their four-game winning streak on Sunday afternoon when they fell to the Chicago Sky in a closely contested battle. Leading by as many as 15 points in the third quarter, Indiana was unable to complete the victory, and will look to start a new streak when they face the Seattle Storm on Thursday night.
Ahead of this game against Seattle, Fever center Aliyah Boston shared a post on Instagram that included three pictures of herself from recent games, along with a short highlight clip of a tough bucket she finished over Chicago Sky center Kamila Cardoso:
After an inconsistent start to the season, Boston has really performed well as of late, scoring in double-figures each of her last seven games. Averaging 17.1 PPG and 10.0 RPG during this stretch, Boston has been a huge reason why Indiana has turned their season around.
Sending a one-word message Boston in an Instagram comment, Fever star Caitlin Clark made it clear how she feels about the young center:
The Clark-Boston pairing has been fantastic over the last several games, as the duo is starting to develop some great chemistry together. There was never any reason to believe Boston and Clark would not work well alongside each other, as it just took some time for the two young players to find a rhythm.
Thursday’s game against Seattle will be a real test for Indiana, as the Storm currently own a 10-6 record, which is the second-best in the Western Conference.
