Paige Bueckers has spoken out on the explicit AI photos that surfaced on social media this week.

On Sunday, doctored photos of UConn’s Bueckers and former Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark, who was the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft, appeared on social media. It continues a disturbing trend of inappropriate use of AI software. LSU women’s basketball star was also a victim of explicit AI photos.

UConn on SNY on X: "Paige Bueckers tells @ChelseaSherrod that her injury helped her view life through a different lens: "I stay grateful for the little things, never take anything for granted."

Fortunately, there’s been an outpouring of support for Bueckers during what’s been a difficult week. The UConn women’s basketball star broke her silence on the matter in a post on social media.

“The devil works hard but God and the people around me work WAY harder. The outpouring of love and support from the WBB community is unreal. Love yall. Support women in sport ALWAYS,” Bueckers said. F

Bueckers’ fans have rallied around her. Social media has since been flooder with great moments from her basketball career. Some even revisited Bueckers’ 2021 ESPYs speech.

Reese, meanwhile, appeared to respond to the AI controversy on Tuesday.

“Protect young women in sports!!!” Reese wrote on X.
