Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have now lost two straight games thanks to an 89-77 defeat against the Seattle Storm. The Fever fell to fifth in the WNBA Eastern Conference standings, leaving them out of the playoffs for now.
Despite a lack of shots, Clark had another solid performance. The former Iowa Hawkeye tallied 15 points on 4 of 9 shooting, six rebounds, seven assists, and a steal. Aliyah Boston added a double-double for Indiana, recording 11 points and 14 rebounds.
After the match, both Clark and Boston took part in a postgame interview. The reporters directed all their questions to Clark, overshadowing Boston, and prompting Clark to come to her teammate’s defense, telling the media to ask Boston some questions.

“No, I’m good,” Boston responded with a wave.

Despite the spotlight being on her, she made it clear that she wants her teammates to share in the limelight as well.
This prompted her to respond to reporters in a way that demonstrated her desire to shift some of the focus onto her fellow teammates.
Clark and Boston have become quite the duo for the Fever, both on and off the court.
