He has six children with ex wife Angelina Jolie.
And Brad Pitt will be spending Christmas Eve with three of their children – Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11, without a monitor, according to US Weekly.
The 55-year-old actor is ‘hoping they’ll want to spend the night but he’s really just looking forward to Christmas Eve with them,’ the outlet’s source reported.
This is the first Christmas following his split with Angelina in 2016 that there won’t be a monitor present with him and his children at his home, the outlet reported.
Daughter Zahara, 14, will not be attending either; the source said he is ‘not expecting her this year.’ Sons Maddox, 18, and Pax, 16, are not expected to attend.
Maddox has been estranged from his dad since the 2016 split, after they allegedly got into an altercation on a private jet to LA, Us Weekly reported.

Although Brad was cleared of any wrongdoing, the alleged incident caused the strained relationship.
It is also the reported reason on what led Angelina to file for divorce from Brad following a two year marriage and 11 years together.
Maddox is currently attending college in South Korea.
While Angelina has tried to mend the relationship and heal the rift but the teen hasn’t been receptive, Us Weekly reported.
Brad sees the rift as a ‘tremendous loss.’ He also has a strained relationship with his other son Pax, 16.
A source told Us Weekly in October that the movie star is hopeful that Pax will be interested in reconciling with him, now that his older brother Maddox is overseas at school.
Brad spent last Christmas with Shiloh, Knox, Vivienne and Zahara while supervised.
The movie stars, who met in 2004 while filming Mr. And Mrs. Smith, share six children together.
They married in August 2014 after 10 years together but Angelina filed for divorce in September 2016. A judge granted them both legal single status while finalizing their divorce.
The former lovebirds have agreed on a custody agreement for their kids and are currently sorting out property
And finances, specifically who gets Miraval, their French winery and the place they tied the knot.
According to The Blast, Brad filed documents to the court asking to appoint a private judge to enable their discussions to continue, a request the star agreed with.
The LA County Court agreed, as long as the pair paid for the judge’s time themselves
And a stipulation order was put in place to ‘Extend Appointment of Privately Compensated Temporary Judge.’
