Philadelphia Eagles star center Jason Kelce will likely reveal whether he will retire from NFL football this Monday.
It was reported that Kelce would be walking away from the game after the Eagles were booted from the playoffs last season. Since then, Kelce has kept his cards close to the vest but has said that he has an announcement to make today.
“No Keg videos this year, I have come to a decision and will address it at a press conference this afternoon,” he posted to X on Monday morning.
While he didn’t go into details, it’s safe to assume that the 36-year-old will announce whether he will remain with the team or call it quits.
A seven-time Pro Bowler, Kelce was a sixth-round pick by the Eagles in 2011. He has spent his entire career with the Eagles. He helped them win a Super Bowl in 2018 and has made six All-Pro first teams.
The center seems a nailed-on cert for the Hall of Fame and will be eligible for induction in 2029.
