Brittany and Patrick Mahomes celebrated their daughter Sterling’s third birthday with an extravagant butterfly-theme backyard party on Sunday.
“We celebrated our Sterling Skye today! I can’t even believe we will have a 3 year old in just a few days!” Brittany and Patrick, both 28, wrote in a joint Instagram post, referring to her 2-year-old daughter’s upcoming birthday on Tuesday, Feb, 20.
The couple, who started dating in high school, added, “Time flies when you’re having fun! We love you baby girl.”

The message was accompanied by a video featuring sweet moments from the party with family and friends.
Sterling looked adorable in a floral pink dress, white tights and a pair of pink butterfly wings on her back to play on the theme. She also wore a pearl-adorned headband to hold back her curly hair.
The birthday girl and her friends were seen enjoying a bounce house, a slide and several other fun rides while indulging in teacup-shaped cookies and a giant blue birthday cake decorated with flowers and watermelons.

The decor featured white tablecloths, massive purple and pink balloon displays and a big backyard tent.
During one particular moment, Brittany and Patrick posed for a photo while the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback carried Sterling in his arms with a big smile.
The athlete and Brittany also posed for photos with Sterling and their 1-year-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, in front of a pink backdrop featuring their daughter’s name, large butterfly cutouts and beautiful floral arrangements.

The proud parents were dressed casually for the milestone event with Patrick wearing blue jeans and a lavender Christian Dior T-shirt, while Brittany wore cream wide-legged jeans and a white top with gold chain detail on the collar. Meanwhile, Bronze wore a gray smiley-face sweatshirt with matching pants.
Sterling and Bronze were on the field with their parents at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last week when Patrick led his team to win the 2024 Super Bowl against the San Fransisco 49ers, 25-22.
Brittany watched from the stands and celebrated with her new bestie Taylor Swift, who was there supporting her boyfriend, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.

The pop star has bonded with Brittany at several Chiefs games and girls’ nights out since Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship in September 2023.
However, Swift was not present at Sterling’s birthday party as she was in Australia this weekend for her Eras Tour concerts.
Patrick is also best buddies with Kelce and has been extremely supportive of the “Catching Kelce” alum’s relationship with Swift.
