“I’d have worshipped her forever, but for that moment”: Miley Cyrus reveals why she left Beyonce’s fandom (video)

Miley Cyrus’ powers of manifestation should be studied.

Earlier this year, when Cyrus won record of the year at the Grammys for her smash hit “Flowers,”.

Fans unearthed an old clip of her preparing to win that very award on an episode of “Hannah Montana.”

“Beyoncé, I can’t believe I’m even in the same category as you,” her Disney Channel character (also named Miley) recites in the clip while choking back tears.

Less than two months after Cyrus won the prize in real life, the second half of her vision came to pass: she appeared alongside Beyoncé on the latter’s new album “Cowboy Carter.”

Their stirring duet “II Most Wanted,” which interpolates the chord progression from Fleetwood Mac’s classic hit “Landslide,”.

Has emerged as an early favorite from the 27-song tracklist. Critics have praised Cyrus and Beyoncé as “two pop chameleons,” delivering a “tastefully restrained” and well-balanced performance.

Although they may seem like an unexpected pair, this actually isn’t the first time Cyrus and Beyoncé have blended their powerful vocals.

Back when Cyrus was a teenager, she sang with Beyoncé and other stars for the 2008 “Stand Up to Cancer” telethon.
