A clip claiming to show Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s epic swing fail deceived millions on the internet before it was proven to be fake.
The couple, who started dating in September, celebrated the break in Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour by jetting off on a romantic getaway together.
Photographers captured the pair, both 34, frolicking together on the Caribbean beach and packing on the PDA in the sea.
However, one thing the couple didn’t do while enjoying the sunshine on their island vacation last Thursday was plummet from a swing into the ocean.
A video showing a couple precariously balancing over the sea on a makeshift swing before flipping off it backwards into the sandy waters went viral on Monday after the account sharing it claimed it was of Kelce and Swift.

By Tuesday morning, the viral clip had gathered 8.2 million views on X, formerly known as Twitter.
However, the millions of fans were left disappointed upon discovering that it wasn’t actually the NFL star and songstress taking a dip, as X’s fact-checker swiftly debunked the claim.
‘This is neither Swift nor Kelce. This is from a viral video back in 2018,’ a warning displayed under the post read.
The Super Bowl champion and 14-time Grammy Award winner are believed to have jetted off to the Caribbean island to enjoy some downtime after Swift’s Eras Tour dates in Australia and Singapore.
The two stars were seen splashing around in the turquoise waters together and laying on the sand working on their tans.
At one point, the pop star planted a sweet kiss on her boyfriend’s lips, and at another, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end lovingly wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
It seemed like they spent the day on a private area of the beach as no other tourists were spotted around them.
After lounging on the sand, the couple made their way into the water while holding hands.
The two stars giggled together as they cooled off in the sea, and at one point, Swift excitedly opened her mouth in response to something Kelce told her.
They then hopped onto a boat that took them out to sea to enjoy the stunning views and perhaps do some snorkeling.
While it hasn’t been confirmed what part of the Bahamas they visited, fans who have been tracking the pop star’s private jet claimed that it flew from LA to North Eleuthera on March 10.
One day later, popular Instagram account DeuxMoi posted pictures of what appeared to be the couple hanging out on a dock in the Bahamas together.
TMZ reported that the snap was taken at the Valentines Resort & Marina at Harbour Island.
Kelce was spotted back in the US last week after he was tagged in a picture on Friday night by a 12-year-old dancer, Morgan Gilbert, who had the snap uploaded to her parent-ran Instagram account.
The caption read: ‘I just met Travis Kelce!!! Best Day Ever!!!’.
