Kate Martin Is Trending After Getting Decked By Chicago Sky Star
On Thursday night, Kate Martin and the Las Vegas Aces defeated Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, 95-83.
The Sky’s two-game winning streak ended, and they dropped to 6-10 on the season. The Aces won their third game in a row, moving to 9-6. They are now 3-0 since point guard Chelsea Gray’s return from injury.
The Aces had three players score at least 20 points in the game. A’ja Wilson had 31, Kelsey Plum added 21 and Jackie Young tallied 22. Despite the loss, Reese recorded her ninth consecutive double-double.
During the game, Aces rookie Martin was trending after being decked by Sky guard Diamond DeShields. The incident happened when DeShields set a firm screen on Martin, who then ran into it and fell flat on her back.
