NFL Fans Are Roasting Patrick Mahomes After Video Resurfaces Of His Embarrassing 40-Yard Dash That He Wants Everyone To Forget About (VIDEO)

NFL fans are having a field time poking fun at Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes after a video of his 40-yard dash time from 2017 resurfaced.
On Tuesday evening, Mahomes humorously asked NFL Network to stop showing his 40-yard dash time overlay. NFL Network trolled Mahomes by showing Florida State defensive lineman Braden Fiske (listed at 6-foot-5, 297 pounds) running a faster 40-yard dash time than the Kansas City QB:
For those who never saw it or want a fresh reminder, here’s the video of Mahomes running a 40-yard dash time of 4.80 seconds back at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine:
With the old video of Mahomes resurfacing across the internet, social media had a grand time teasing the three-time Super Bowl champion:
It’s hard to believe that Mahomes’ had a rather slow 4.80 yard rush time, considering that he’s already up to 1,936 career rushing yards and 12 rushing scores in 96 NFL games. In fact, the 389 yards he rushed for this past season marked a career-best for the two-time league MVP.
It’s almost impossible to comprehend now, but Mahomes wasn’t exactly a super highly-touted quarterback when he entered the draft in 2017. He was widely viewed as a boom-or-bust prospect, and many were surprised when Kansas City traded up to snag him 10th overall in 2017.
But here we are in 2024, and Mahomes is a three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time league MVP who has taken the mantle from Tom Brady as the new face of the NFL.
