Nobody in their right mind wants to be connected to P Diddy these days, and that includes Patrick Mahomes.
After federal agents raided the rapper’s multi-million dollar homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this week, many on social media have been looking at his past and anyone who has been connected to him in any way. Naturally, sports fans are scouring the internet to see which stars have been praising or possibly partying with P Diddy over the years.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes appeared to be a fan at one point of P Diddy because once he saw traction on his X account from old posts where he used to speak about him, he quickly began to delete them.
Users on the site noticed the missing posts and rapidly started questioning Mahomes’ actions, specifically, if he had something to hide regarding the controversial music mogul.
One tweet was from September 2014 where he wished P Diddy a happy birthday and referred to him as “fam,” which is short for family.
Another tweet was from earlier in the same year where he said “yeah P Diddy” which was in response to P Diddy performing alongside Pharrell Williams, Nelly, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes at the NBA All-Star Game at New Orleans Arena.
On that night, P Diddy and Busta Rhymes rose onto the stage from a platform below to perform “Pass the Rock This Way,” which was a remix of their 2002 single “Pass the Courvoisier, Part II.”

If you were wondering, Patrick Mahomes would’ve been 17 going on 18 around the time he sent out those tweets. In 2014, he would be at Texas Tech for his first year in college. For that first season, he passed for 1,547 yards, 16 touchdowns, and four interceptions, via his Wikipedia page.
There is no record of if Patrick Mahomes has ever hung out or been at one of P Diddy’s infamous parties.

On March 25th, P Diddy had his life turned upside down when US federal agents with Homeland Security Investigators searched properties owned by him in Los Angeles and Miami at the same time.
Officials said the searches were connected to an investigation by federal authorities in New York.
It is not clear whether the search is related to any of the allegations raised in the lawsuits that came about after former girlfriend and R&B singer Cassie accused the hip-hop legend of rape and a decade-long pattern of abuse.
According to Diddy’s lawyer, Aaron Dyer, “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested, nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way. There has been no criminal or civil liability finding with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” via ABC7 New York.
Do you think Patrick Mahomes will catch backlash for deleting tweets about Diddy? Will reporters ask him about it during the season? We would love to hear your thoughts on the situation in the comments.
