Patrick Mahomes’ Latest Photos Of Daughter Sterling May Hint At One Of His Favorite Things About Her
Patrick Mahomes has rightfully been showing his favorite little cheerleader some extra love this week. His daughter, Sterling Skye, just turned 3, and we have no idea how that happened. Was she not just celebrating her sweets-themed second birthday? This weekend, she had an epic tea party to celebrate becoming a three-nager, and the photos are everything.
Patrick — who shares Sterling and his 1-year-old son Bronze with his high school sweetheart Brittany Mahomes — posted a carousel of photos on Instagram as a tribute to his little girl.

“Happy 3rd birthday Sterling Skye!” he wrote alongside photos of Sterling having the best time at her party. “You are my 🩵! Stop growing up so fast!!”
He also reshared a photo that Brittany posted on his Instagram story and added that same light blue heart. And the back-to-back use of that emoji has us wondering if they are a nod to Sterling’s light blue eyes. Could that be one of his favorite things about her? I mean … how could they not be?
You can clearly see her stunning baby blues in the birthday party photos — and in the heartwarming snapshot that we’ve unapologetically dubbed the best picture from the Super Bowl. They’re a mesmerizing trait she definitely got from her mama. (Brittany’s blues totally popped in her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photoshoot).
Or is the Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs just over gender norms? Why should he stick to the societal expectation of using a pink or red heart for his daughter? Either way, we applaud his choice!
Lots Of Love From Mom

Of course, Sterling also got tons of social media love (and IRL fun!) from her mom. The co-owner of the Kansas City Current shared a carousel of pictures from her daughter’s birthday bash that included shots of the toddler playing in a bouncy castle while wearing fairy wings. How cute?! She also shared a FOMO-inducing montage with footage of the day set to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”
“Happy Birthday to my Sterling Skye! ✨” Brittany captioned the carousel. “You made me a Mama and it was one of the greatest moments of my life! You my girl are the brightest little girl and make every day nothing short of beautiful! 🤍”
And how did Patrick respond? You guessed it! By commenting with three light blue hearts.
These celebrity moms all appeared in the ‘Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’ Issue after welcoming babies.
