If there’s one thing the world knows already about 3-year-old Sterling Skye Mahomes, it is this:

Girl loves to bounce.

The oldest child of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, celebrated her third birthday early over the weekend with a tea party attended by family and friends in Dallas. Her birthday is Feb. 20.

Sterling and the littlest guests wore butterfly wings. And as seems to be tradition at children’s parties in the Mahomes family, there was a bouncy house.

Family and friends — and a few butterflies — attended the gathering at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, a prestigious venue that this week begins hosting what it calls the largest annual floral festival in the Southwest.

Videos posted by family members showed it to be a laid-back, low-key affair.

Brittany Mahomes, the co-owner of the Kansas City Current soccer team, posted a video of the party with the caption: “I can’t even believe we will have a 3 year old in just a few days! Time flies when you’re having fun! We love you baby girl.”

Patrick, who just won his third Super Bowl, posted a birthday message to his daughter on his Instagram where he has nearly 7 million followers.

“Happy 3rd birthday Sterling Skye! You are my heart. Stop growing up so fast!!” he wrote.

Patrick’s mom, Randi Mahomes, also posted video and photos to Instagram that showed Patrick’s brother and sister, Jackson and Mia, at the party.

Brittany’s BFF, Realtor Paige Buechele, and her husband, former Chiefs backup quarterback Shane Buechele, now with the Buffalo Bills, attended, too.

On Tuesday, Brittany posted videos of the family at an indoor playground, where Sterling slid down tall slides, giggling all the way.

Dad slid down a few times, too, holding Sterling and then the couple’s youngest, 1-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, on his lap.
