Strange old man with the face of an “alien”
A 53-year-old man suffers from a strange disease that causes his face to be deformed and his head to become abnormally large. At first glance, people mistake him for an “alien”.
According to Mirror, the man named Ha Nguyen Hai (53 years old) lives in Lao Tho village, Chongqing city, China. He is known by many people for his large and deformed face due to a rare disease.
Ha Xuong, Nguyen Hai’s 66-year-old brother, said that his younger brother was completely normal when he was young. But when he reached puberty, Nguyen Hai’s face began to deform. At first, no one noticed, but the deformity became more and more serious.

At first glance, people mistook him for an “alien”.
Later people found out that he had a condition called hypertrophic facial muscle disease, which made his face too big, his eyes were deep-set and hidden behind a sunken face, his cheekbones protruded, making him look like an “alien” in a science fiction movie.
This strange disease also severely affected Nguyen Hai’s hearing and chewing ability, to the point where he is now almost deaf. His brother said the situation is getting worse, but the surgery is too expensive for the family to afford.

Mr. Nguyen Hai and his brother
Currently, the older brother is trying to work to earn money and asking for help from kind-hearted people so that Mr. Xia Yuanhai can have plastic surgery to help his face return to normal size.
However, medical experts say the disease has developed over a long period of time, so treating Nguyen Hai will be very difficult.
