Taylor Swift was busy winning Grammys on Sunday, yet she still wasn’t able to free herself of the NFL.
Taylor, who is now the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, won multiple awards at said event, including Best Pop Vocal Album for her “Midnights” album.
At one point, she was spotted having a friendly interaction with a certain NFL owner on the red carpet. It wasn’t Clark Hunt either.
As it happens, the pop sensation was seen exchanging pleasantries with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
The 82-year-old praised Swift while speaking to reporters too.
“To be honest, there are 16 games that go on every week and Taylor (Swift) is at one,” he said to CNN.
“I think she’s increased the fan approval for young women, which we want, but she’s been smart because she is also getting male fans to come to her music. I just think it’s the quality of the product and the parity and what the NFL presents.
“Our ratings this year were the highest for about seven to eight years and you look at the playoff games, it was phenomenal.”
Taylor will have more eyes on her next weekend as well, with the Chiefs set to play the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s Super Bowl.
