Calling Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce a renaissance man in 2024 certainly could feel like a misspoken blunder. The three-time Super Bowl champion has endeared himself to much of America with his wild, boozy adventures and his rambunctious personality, one that compelled him to belt out, “Viva Las Vegas!” from the victory stage after his team won Super Bowl LVIII.
But off the field, Kelce has been far from ordinary. He’s dating one of the most celebrated artists of this generation in singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. And he’s reportedly aiming to bolster his résumé with an impressive array of Hollywood exploits.

Kelce and his team are “considering movie roles, developing unscripted shows for the star, exploring comedy opportunities and pursuing product endorsements,” industry insiders told The Wrap.
Already in the works are an indie film, My Dead Friend Zoe, and a Jean-Michel Basquiat documentary, King Pleasure, both produced by Kelce.
As for television, The Wrap revealed that many notable filmmakers—including White Lotus producer David Bernad—flew to Kansas City during the NFL season to meet with Kelce about a reality show which Kelce hopes to produce and star in.
Throw in Kelce’s uber-popular podcast, New Heights, co-hosted with brother Jason, and the 34-year-old appears to have a little bit of everything on his plate this offseason.

There is, er, just one small wrinkle.
Ryan Schinman, CEO of Mayflower Entertainment, a consulting company that connects brands with entertainment partners, told The Wrap about the “Kelce effect” and confessed the one thing that’s on every Swiftie’s mind.
“I do worry about one thing, the breakup,” Schinman said. “God forbid they break up. How they break up could be devastating to his branding career. Because she is the most loved superstar and has the most rabid fans in the world—when she feels wronged, the whole world feels wronged. … If it doesn’t work out, Travis had better strategically plan what his messaging is.”

Swift is scheduled to perform in Sydney, Australia, this weekend on the latest leg of her international Eras Tour. It has been rumored that Kelce will travel with her on tour this year.
