Taylor Swift made Grammy history Sunday night, and Travis Kelce is singing her praises!
On Monday night, the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, shared his pride about his superstar girlfriend’s latest musical feat.
“She’s unbelievable. She’s re-writing the history books herself,” the pro athlete said about her fourth Album of the Year win. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too.”
Just one day before the Super Bowl’s annual media event on Monday night, the “Blank Space” hitmaker, 34, won her fourth Album of the Year award at the 2024 Grammys.
“I would love to tell you that this is the best moment in my life. But I feel this happy when I’ve finished a song or when I’ve cracked the code to a bridge that I love or when I’m shot listing a music video, or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show,” she said during her acceptance speech, teasing the 2024 start of The Eras Tour this week.
Monday begins a big week for the couple, with the Super Bowl less than a week away, and four shows in Tokyo on the “Karma” singer’s agenda.
On Monday, Kelce, his Kansas City Chiefs teammates and members of the San Francisco 49ers met with reporters for the Super Bowl’s annual media event.
In advance of the massive gathering of about 6,000 media members from 26 countries, the tight end shared his own excitement — and that the allure of the week has not diminished even if the Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl four out of the last six years.
“It’s exciting. It’s all exciting stuff,” Kelce said. “It builds and sets the tone for the whole week. It’s the biggest stage in the world. Monday night is going to be where it starts for everybody. At this point, I just love it, it’s an exciting time. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime type of thing that I’ve been able to enjoy a few times.”
Just days after taking home her 13th and 14th Grammy awards, Swift could take in her 13th NFL game this season, since it’s possible for her to return from Japan within 24 hours of the game on Sunday.
Swift’s appearance would come on the heels of her presence at the game that secured the Chiefs a consecutive AFC championship title. The singer joined Kelce on the field for the first time after the game, celebrating his win with a kiss.
