Travis Kelce is “motivated and still locked in” ahead of the Super Bowl.
On the latest episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce released Thursday, the Kansas City tight end, 34, called the Super Bowl the “biggest game of my life” and detailed his “excitement” for the upcoming match-up against the San Francisco 49ers.
After his brother Jason, 36, asked Travis to differentiate between how he’s feeling ahead of Sunday’s game as opposed to his previous Super Bowl appearances, Travis described the feeling in Las Vegas, where the Super Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium.
“Yeah man it’s exciting,” he said. “We’re over at the Raiders’ facility, everybody over there has kind of made us feel at home and helped us out getting acclimated. Tell you what man, that thing is state of the f—— art. That thing is nice.”
“We’ve gotten two good days of work in down here so far so just grinding with all the chaos going around Vegas in between practices.”

Jason then brought up the “things you have to do outside football” during Super Bowl week, asking his brother how he’s minimized distractions this time around.
“I think it’s a part of the culture and the leadership that we’ve already got to kind of make sure we focus on this thing,” Travis said about Sunday’s big game. “We’ve got one week man, if we do what we need to do and we play our game and we find a way to win this game, we can party and have fun in Vegas for the rest of our lives.”
“You’ve got to focus on this game for what is it, five more days now,” he added. “And that’s the biggest focus. Let all the excitement… there will be plenty of Super Bowls for you to attend for the festivities when you’re done playing the game, or still playing, and I think everybody is pretty motivated and still locked in on the task in hand, and it’s exciting being out here in Vegas, I’ll tell you that.”
Throughout the 2023-24 season, the Missouri-based team has had the nation’s eyes on them — often as a result of Travis’ high-profile, whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift. Fielding questions from the media on Monday’s Super Bowl opening night Travis called Swift’s fourth album of the year win at the 2024 Grammy Awards “unbelievable.”
“She’s re-writing the history books herself,” the football star said. “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too.”
Ahead of the championship game, Travis added that Swift, 34, is “all in” on supporting the Chiefs. “She’s a part of the Chiefs Kingdom 100%,” he continued.

Last week on New Heights, Travis and Jason, 36, discussed the celebration chaos on the pitch following the Chiefs’ crucial victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game. Travis gave a “shoutout to Tay” after Jason joked that she had “reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year.”
The Chiefs are bidding to nab their fourth Super Bowl victory and defend last year’s title. At Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, they will face the 49ers in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV, four years ago.
Super Bowl LVIII airs on CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET Feb. 11.
