Before the Indiana Fever 88-69 loss at Las Vegas Aces, Caitlin Clark was named a first-time WNBA All-Star and Kelsey Mitchell + Aliyah Boston were named to their second game. That will take place in Phoenix on Saturday, July 20th.
Then, that trio, along with Fever head coach Christie Sides, talked about the loss. They’re now 8-13 and headed back home after five straight games on the road.
They were within six points entering the fourth quarter, then the Aces outscored them 23-10 in the 19-point loss.
They shot just 6 for 26 (23%) from outside.
Kelsey Plum erupted for 34 points and A’ja Wilson had 28. For the Fever, Mitchell scored 23 points and Clark added 13-6-11 in the loss.
