Why Travis Kelce Left Sydney and Missed the Rest of Taylor Swift’s Shows
Travis Kelce flew allll the way to Sydney to watch Taylor Swift perform in her Eras Tour, and I think we can all agree it was everything (mostly because she ran straight into his arms for a post-show kiss).
Not only did the footballer show up looking straight outta 1989 (heh), but Taylor once again changed the lyrics in “Karma” to “Karma is a guy on the Chiefs,” and they were spotted holding hands at a marina together following the show—presumably for a romantic boat ride?

But it seems as though Travis flew all the way across the world for only two days because he wasn’t spotted at Taylor’s next three shows in Sydney—and was instead seen partying in Las Vegas on Saturday night (February 24).
But before you read into things, a reminder that 1) Travis has work commitments just like Tay, so it’s possible he had to head back to the States for an obligation, and 2) he was seen dancing to Taylor’s song “Love Story” in Vegas:

…Which is almost as much of a vibe as when he and the musician danced to the song together right after the Super Bowl

As for when Travis is expected to re-join Taylor on tour, his dad Ed Kelce low-key spilled on their plans following the Super Bowl, saying (via Us Weekly) “I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen. He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.”
Taylor has the rest of this week off and then plays six shows in Singapore starting on March 2, so guess we’ll see whether Travis shows!
