Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has broken his silence on his father’s arrest following a DWI incident in Texas.
Patrick Mahomes Sr. was taken into custody for said offense during the weekend and, with this being his third strike, he could be facing a lengthy
prison term.
According to TMZ, the elder Mahomes admitted he “had a few beers while watching a game at a local bar” before he got into his vehicle after he was pulled by lawmen who spotted him driving slower than the rest of the traffic while sporting expired tags.
The arresting officer noted that the former MLB player failed a sobriety test once he was taken out of his vehicle.
