Troy Rosario Debuts for Barangay Ginebra in a Win Over NLEX

Troy Rosario made his debut for Barangay Ginebra on Wednesday, October 16, 2023, in a 116-102 win over the NLEX Road Warriors. Rosario scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in his first game for the Gin Kings.

The game was also the debut of Justin Brownlee for NLEX. Brownlee, who had been with Barangay Ginebra for the past 10 seasons, scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his first game for the Road Warriors.

Despite the loss, NLEX put up a good fight against Ginebra. The Road Warriors led by as many as 11 points in the first half. However, Ginebra rallied in the second half to take the victory.

Rosario and Brownlee were the two leading scorers for their respective teams. Rosario shot 5-for-11 from the field, while Brownlee shot 7-for-14.

After the game, Rosario said that he was happy to be back in the PBA and that he was looking forward to helping Ginebra win a championship. Brownlee, on the other hand, said that he was disappointed with the loss but that he was confident that NLEX would be a competitive team this season.

Overall, it was a good start to the season for both Ginebra and NLEX. Ginebra will look to build on their win, while NLEX will look to bounce back from the loss.
